Brother Formation House, Alwal |
The Brothers play a very important part in the missionary activities along with the priests. On March 10th, 2001, Most Rev. M. Joji, Archbishop of Hyderabad blessed the newly acquired and renovated Brother Formation House at Alwal, Secunderabad. Provincial Very Rev. Fr. Augustine Kanjamala inaugurated the house. The house was opened in a rented house in 1994 and was functioning since then. Br. U. Alphonse, Br. Jacob have worked relentlessly and untiringly for the welfare of candidates for Brotherhood in different capacities as Rector, Vocation Promoter, Coordinator etc. They deserve more understanding, cooperation and appreciation from his own brethren. There are good number of candidates who attend graduation courses in the nearby colleges.
The present staff consists of Fr. Dominic Illickal and Brother Rajesh Soreng who are leading the students towards religious Brotherhood.
