The cause of the mission has certain urgency about it.  The harvest is vast the laborers are few.  Jesus reminds his followers the task that he began has been left to his followers of all ages to bring to its completion.  Each generation of Christians received this task as a legacy. There have never been enough Priests, Nuns and Brothers to spread God’s message of love in the modern war - torn and selfish world.

      The call of the mission is addressed to the brave and the faithful. It is a life that involves many huddles and numerous challenges, yet it is also a life, holding great promises.  It's a call for a life long commitment.  To some embracing this way of life might appear as foolishness, but what is your response....?

      One way to master a lot of courage is, to be able to respond to the invitation of Jesus. If you respond to His invitation He will be there, to lead you on the right track.  Are you brave enough to accept the call of Jesus to be a missionary to carry the Word,  where it has not been preached?  If your answer is ‘yes’ the 'Society of the Divine Word' (SVD) will provide you the right atmosphere to bring your desire to its fulfillment.  Young man the choice is yours. If you are willing to accept the challenge, take your invitation and walk-in. Our door is always open to you.
